Warren Baseball Softball Inc. is now accepting applications from baseball players from Warren and nearby towns for the 2010 Fall-Ball baseball season. Individual player’s ages 7 through 13 will play in the recreation format. Age determination is based on your child’s age as of April 30, 2011. Players’ ages 7 to 13 will be assessed and placed on teams. Play will begin September 14th for this league. Player’s age 7 to 8 will be placed in the Minor/player pitched league. Player’s age 9 to 10 will be placed in the Major league 46/60 size field. Player’s age 11 to 13 will be placed in the Major league 50/70 size field. A team placement assessment will take place on Sept. 1 or Sept. 2 at the Warren Municipal fields. The application fee is $185, but if you register early on or before Aug. 15, the fee is $135. Registrations accepted after September 1st will be charged $235. and we can not guarantee a spot on a team. Games are scheduled to begin on Sept. 14. We also encourage certified parents to sign up to help coach these teams.
Central Jersey Amateur Baseball League In addition, Central Jersey Amateur Baseball League (CJABL) is now accepting entire teams in the 9u, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, and 14U age groups. All games will be played at the Warren Municipal fields and/or other local fields. We anticipate the season to begin in early September for CJABL and run until the end of October or early November with each team playing 1 to 2 games per week.

WBSI Donates Used Equipment Warren Baseball Softball Inc. donated a truckload of used equipment to youth baseball and softball players from around the world. Equipment was donated to Pitch-In For Baseball, a non-profit organization. Please read the article that was published in the Echoes-Sentinel Newspaper on December 26, 2009. WBSI has adopted the new league determination date of April 30 for the 2006 season and beyond. Parking at the Municipal Complex The Warren Police Department has asked for your cooperation in regard to the parking situation at the Municipal fields. Of particular concern is the parking of vehicles in a manner which would impede emergency vehicles from accessing or maneuvering near the fields. The area of M-3 near the left field scoreboard (nearest to the bridge and ice skating area) is a no parking area to allow an ambulance to access the fields. Please observe all the "No Parking" areas and in particular the ones mentioned. Summons have been issued to violators in the past. Parking is allowed in the lot near the Rescue Squad and parking spaces open up after the early games have ended. The Warren Baseball and Softball Inc. is pleased to announce a new service, which we are evaluating, an E-mail newsletter to keep players, coaches, volunteers and families informed about important dates or events. The News-letter service is completely optional and a recipient can opt-out after receiving the newsletter at any time. The list of E-mail addresses is not sold or used for any other purpose, other than WBSI sponsored events. Please send us your comments about the service and if we should continue it in the future.
